DU SOL has released an official notice regarding changes in the class schedule for 2025. The main update is that from now on there will regular classes for DU SOL from Monday to Saturday.
Previously what used to happen was that only once a week classes were conducted that too on Sunday. From now on students can get benefits of regular classes. This is done to increase the effectiveness of education provided at DU SOL and providing similar opportunities to students like they get in regular colleges.
These classes will happen in two shifts:
- First shift is from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
- Second shift is from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
There will be two sessions per subject daily. The offline classes will be conducted in newly opened large campus in Tahirpur. This building has better facilities and more space to accommodate students comfortably.
You can expect this to start form the first week of September 2025. It will benefit students from all semesters. It would be particularly helpful for students in the first semester.
With daily classes, students doubts and problems would be solved with much ease. Previously students had limited classes time, which was not enough to clear their doubts.
This is a very good initiative by Delhi University but many students would have doubts like is it compulsory to attend daily classes.
Firstly understand that, DU SOL is known as distance learning which basically means students could study with flexibility of attendance. You don’t need to attend classes regularly like in a regular college which is the biggest advantage of DU SOL.
