If you have any doubts or questions about the CSAS Phase 3, then this article is for you. In this article, we will discuss everything about the Phase 3 from Admission to Fee payment.
What is CSAS Phase 3?
Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) phase 3 is an important round in Delhi University’s undergraduate admissions. Phases 1 and 2 focused on registration and preference setting, phase 3 is all about seat allocation, document verification, and final submissions.
Step-Wise Guide to CSAS Phase 3:
Seat Allocation Results
The results will be displayed directly on your DU dashboard. If you accepts, then your seat will be confirmed. If you don’t get any seat, the dashboard will show a “not allotted” message.
Minimum Allocation Marks
You can check the minimum marks required for each preference, college, and program on your dashboard. Everything is very transparent on the dashboard. You will be able to see why you have gotten a certain course or degree, based on your rank and category.
Category Certificates & Document Issues
In case, your category documents are rejected, don’t get mad. DU may still consider you in the unreserved (general) category if you fulfill the criteria and cut off in that category.
Final seats are assigned with always your priority of high available preference adjusting only for valid document verification.
Which is Better: DU SOL or IGNOU?
Verification, Resubmission & Second Chances
If you have any mismatching or missing documents, it may lead to a temporary rejection at the college-level verification. Even though you get rejected, there is still a chance of being considered for unreserved seats in later rounds which depends on availability and your marks.
Accept, Upgrade, or Freeze
Accepting your allotted seat is the first step even if you have eyes on a higher preference in the next round. After acceptance and fee payment, you can choose:
- Upgrade: Be considered for a higher preference if seats open up in the next round.
- Freeze: Lock your current seat, no further movement possible.
Fee Payment & Withdrawal Policy
Confirm your admission only after successful fee payment. DU allows payment on a semester-wise or full-year basis. If you want to withdraw, you can do that also. Write in the comments, and I will make a separate article discussing about that.
Conclusion
