We will discuss how will be the course structure, which would be core subjects. Now it has been officially implemented.
In the notice, it is written that 4 year of UG programmes has started for programs namely, B.A.(P), B.Sc.(P), and B.Com(P). 4 year admissions has not started for honours courses yet.
So, as 4th year is added which would result in 7th and 8th semester addition. 7th and 8th semester structure is as follows:

Will BA Program students need to get admission in 4th year?
It is optional for students to opt for the 4 year. You can take your bachelor’s degree after 3 year and exit the college. If you decide to take admission in 4th year, you will get honors degree.
Is the 4th year policy also there in IGNOU?
Yes, IGNOU also provides 4th year for undergraduate courses as part of the National Education Policy.
Is doing 4 year graduation compulsory?
No, it’s totally optional for students to do 4th year. But remember if you do 4 year graduation, you will have more opportunities than a 3 year graduate student.
If I do a 4 year graduation, then how much year will be MA?
MA will be only 1 year if you have done 4 year graduation. As you have already given 1 extra year in graduation in your research you don’t need to spend 2 years in MA.
